What is BLOXX?

BLOXX is a smarter way to buy a home without taking on a mortgage or wasting money on rent.

You start by purchasing a small portion of the home (as little as 1%) and gradually increase your ownership over time through fixed BLOXX payments. No interest, no debt, just real equity in a home you can live in.

Do I actually own part of the home?

Yes! From day one, you’re a co-owner. Your initial payment secures your ownership share in the property. As you make regular payments, your ownership increases. You also have full occupancy rights.

Why does the cost of future ownership increase over time?

Because homes typically go up in value. To keep things fair for both you and the investor, future ownership portions follow a pre-agreed pricing path based on the cost of capital to secure an investor.


This ensures:

  • You know what you’ll pay in advance
  • The investor earns a reasonable return
  • You share the benefit if the home’s value rises faster than expected
What do I pay each week?

You make a fixed payment to BLOXX, similar to what you’d pay in rent. Each week, your payment buys more equity in your home.

Can I buy more of the home faster?

Yes, absolutely. If you’re in a financial position to buy more equity sooner, you can “top-up” at any time, with no hidden fees or penalties. The price for these top-ups is based on the fixed annual pricing schedule you agreed to when you moved into your BLOXX Home.

What happens after 5 years?

At the 5-year mark, you have three options:

  1. Keep going - Renew with BLOXX, stay in your home and continue building equity

  2. Buy out - Purchase the remaining equity and become the full owner
  3. Sell - Sell the home and receive your share of the proceeds, including any capital gains on your portion minus selling costs
What if I want to move out early?

No problem. You can choose to:

  • Buy out the rest of the home early

  • Or sell your owned portion after 12 months at market value (minus standard selling costs)

You’re never locked in.

What if the home goes up in value?

You benefit from your share of the home's appreciation, as the value of your owned portion increases just like any other homeowner's. However, the BLOXX Investor will receive the appreciation on the share of your home that they own.

Who owns the rest of the home?

Both you and BLOXX Investor own the home. You pay your BLOXX fixed regular payment and this buys you equity each and every month, increasing your equity portion whilst the BLOXX Investor portion goes down.

Is BLOXX secure and legally recognised?

Yes. Your ownership is legally registered and protected, just like with any other property co-ownership agreement. You’ll work with trusted legal and conveyancing partners to finalise your ownership stake.
